Join Lentil Lauren and special guest Bean Doc Chelsea Didinger, PhD for a (p)lentiful ninety minutes! Lauren will demonstrate delicious and creative ways to integrate lentils into your every day and Chelsea will share about the incredible nutritional and health benefits of lentils and other pulses, along with how they provide such huge environmental wins.
After you register, you will receive an email confirmation along with the Zoom link. You will receive the recipes prior to class. Please check your spam/junk folder if you don’t receive it. If it’s not in there, email Lauren.
Do not plan to cook along during class. Pull up a seat with your favorite beverage, watch, listen, and enjoy!
Class is nonrefundable but you will receive a recording of it so you can watch it whenever is convenient for you.
If there are two or more of you taking class together on one device, you do not need to buy more than one ticket. But if it is within your budget, it is much appreciated.
You are encouraged to have your camera on but it’s okay if you prefer to have it off.

Lauren Chandler is a plant-forward chef educator and recipe developer who has been teaching people to cook and eat well for 25 years. She leads engaging, health-supportive cooking classes virtually and in-person for employees at businesses, nonprofits, and unions including organizations like Tillamook, Nike, and the Association of Washington Cities. Her work emphasizes seasonal whole foods and demonstrates that eating well can be both flavorful and fun. Read more about Lauren here.
Chelsea Didinger has a PhD in nutrition, and she focused on pulses (e.g., lentils, chickpeas, beans) for her doctoral research. In addition to spending lots of time in the kitchen savoring the culinary versatility of pulses, she often visits fields to chat with farmers, studies how people around the world eat pulses, and feels very lucky to see much of the behind-the-scenes world of pulses. She truly believes pulses can be a delicious solution to many of the challenges we face, and her passion led her to found A Legume a Day.
